Bridal Bingo - Bingo for Brides

Bridal Bingo is a gambling card game played at weddings. It is played like regular Bingo, except that the word BINGO is replaced with BRIDE and the numbers are replaced by romantic images. Preparations to Play

Before the shower

1. Supply markers for your guests. Use traditional casino poker chips or, to have more fun playing the card game, provide small wrapped chocolates or sweets, or candies such 'Smarties'. If your guests cannot resist sweets, we'd advise you to go with the casino poker chips instead. This will ensure that no sweets get eaten before 'BRIDE' is called!
   


2. Each card is to be filled out with the bride's name, the groom's name and the wedding date.
   


3. Place some pre-made poker chips in a bag or better, a hat.

The Bridal Shower

1. The cards and the markers are distributed to your guests.
   


2. The casino chips are drawn from the bag or hat, whichever you used, and each item is called out when drawn.
   


3. Tick off your choice on the card.

The Game

The object of the game is to guess what gifts the bride receives. Gift categories will do nicely (such as Bed and Bath, Kitchen etc.)

The guests must write on the card what gifts that they think the bride-to-be will receive. As the bride opens her presents, the guests mark off any of the presents that they have written down on the card. If a guest receives a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line marked off, he or she yells "BRIDE" or the name of the bride-to-be!

There are several variations to Bridal Bingo, one of them being that it can be played with '4-corners'. In this variation of the game, the first player who marks off the 4 corners wins the Bridal Bingo.

A small gift must be presented to the winners for the event to be truly memorable. At least 2-3 seperate Bridal Bingo games should be played for maximum fun and atmosphere!
