A player pays a buy-in and a House fee in order to join a tournament which gives the player 1,000 playing chips to put into the game prize pool. At every level of the tournament each player receives 1,000 new chips and there is no amassing or accumulation from one level to the next. The House keeps the fee for the buy-in. The tournament's winner is the player who accumulated the most chips at the end of the game.

If it is a tie, the "Higher finishing position" applies.

The buy-in amount, House fee amount, as well as the number of players, number of hands per round and number of levels all vary from tournament to tournament. The ultimate object is to accumulate as many chips as possible per tournament level. Players who lose all of their chips are automatically eliminated.
